The EAIVT International Markets Congress 2026, held from 28 to 30 May in Zurich, Switzerland, was another memorable milestone in EAIVT’s history. Nearly 400 delegates—including representatives from independent dealerships, traders, and automotive service providers—came together for two days of networking, knowledge sharing, and business development. The Circle Zurich Airport proved an excellent venue, with two on-site hotels providing convenient access and smooth logistics for both organizers and participants. The post-conference group dinner took place at the iconic Albisgüetli restaurant and was fully booked, welcoming more than 400 friends and partners. On 2nd and 3rd October 2025 we staged the Forum Future in Antwerp, Belgium. The event was held at the Radisson Astrid, near the historical train station just across Astrid Square in central Antwerp. The meeting was attended by over 70 participants from almost 20 countries, networking, listening to presentations and engaging in quality discussions over one and a half days. The Forum Future is enjoying more and more popularity among EAIVT members due to its a discussion-friendly setting. Furthermore, the association board uses the opportunity to share and explain current and future projects to the members present.
The EAIVT International Markets Congress 2025, held from May 14 to May 16, 2025, was an outstanding success in the picturesque town of Prague. More than 350 delegates, including representatives from independent dealerships, traders, and service providers in the automotive sector, convened for two days of networking, knowledge sharing, and business development.
The EAIVT International Markets Congress 2024 from 30 May to 1st June 2024 was a huge success and took place in the beautiful town of Baveno on Lake Maggiore, Italy. Over 300 people, representatives of independent dealerships, traders and service providers of the automotive industry, gathered for 2 days of networking, information exchange and business creation.
From 12-14 September 2024 we staged the first Forum Future since 2019. The event was held in Ljubljana, Slovenia, and saw over 50 participants from almost 20 countries, networking, listening to presentations and engaging in quality discussions over one and a half days. The Forum Future is an important item in EAIVT's toolbox as it comes in a discussion-friendly setting, an ideal platform for the association board to share and explain current and future projects to the members present.
For our 2023 congress we had selected the iconic coastal resort Huis Ter Duin , situated half an hour from Amsterdam’s Schiphol airport, right on the coast overlooking a wide, sandy beachfront. The Board and Management of EAIVT had put together an exciting agenda for the event and over 300 delegates came to the Dutch North-Sea coast to meet, network and do business.ion.
After 3 years of absence the EAIVT International Markets Congress was finally back in May 2022. The Athens congress was the long-awaited return of the annual higlight of the independent automotive trade – and it was a big success. Over 300 people, representatives of independent dealerships, traders and service providers of the automotive industry, gathered for 2 days of networking, information exchange and business creation.
On 21 October 2021 EAIVT Members gathered for EAIVT’s first ‘Hybrid Market Talk’, a meeting that was derived from the popular Forum Future scheme, but which takes place in an online/hybrid format. With the ‘Market Talk’ EAIVT takes a critical look at the situation of the independent car trade in some of the European core markets.
The EAIVT International Markets Congress 2019 took place from 23 – 25 May in London. Again, there were over 300 delegates from 20+ countries and the organizers wish to thank all participants for contributing to the success of the event. The event was was fully booked three weeks before the start of the conference and companies interested in attending next year’s EAIVT Congress are strongly recommended to register early to avoid disappointment. The E.A.I.V.T. Forum Future 2019 took place on 27 September in Oslo, Norway. As in previous years, about 50-60 E.A.I.V.T. members and guests came to this discussion forum to learn about market developments, discuss problems and ideas and exchange opinions. The first part of the meeting was a members-only meeting again, where we discussed association matters and looked at developments in individual markets. Accordingly, we heard input from various members established in different markets both inside and beyond Europe. The open meeting in the afternoon was dedicated to the topic of e-mobility and we heard expert presentations from TUEV Nord, the German technical service, Transport&Environment, a prominent European NGO promoting green transportation in the EU, as well as Norsk elbilforening, who represent Norwegian e-car owners and promote e-mobility in the country of this conference. Like in previous ForumFuture meetings the participants were eager to hear the presentations and afterwards engaged in lively discussions.
