Meeting of the Privileged Members
The 2026 EAIVT Annual General Meeting took place on 6 March 2026 in Geneva.
The EAIVT Annual General Meeting is the meeting of the Privileged Members (members with voting rights). At the AGM, Board elections are held, membership issues and future projects of the association are discussed and decided on.
This year's AGM marked a special occasion.
After more than 20 years as president, Mr Marco Belfanti stepped down from his top position and was elected honorary president to loud applause for his work.
The long-standing board member and previous vice president, Mr Dirk van Meir, was elected as the new president.
Mr Tom Versweyveld was elected as the new vice president.
Mr Josef Pirmann remains on the board as treasurer.
