Organisation
|
There are 2 types of membership in EAIVT: PRIVILEGED MEMBERS and REGULAR MEMBERS. E.A.I.V.T. PRIVILEGED MEMBERS are national associations in the independent automotive trade as well as large dealerships with many years of experience in the international car trade. Only companies with an excellent reputation are accepted. PRIVILEGED MEMBERS agree to actively contribute to the work of the association. PRIVILEGED MEMBERS also have voting right at the AGM. They constitute the "parliament" of the association and pay an elevated membership fee. E.A.I.V.T. REGULAR MEMBERS are dealers who are active in the international car trade and who fulfil E.A.I.V.T.'s high-level admission criteria.
REGULAR
MEMBERS have no voting right at the AGM, but are
entitled to all other services of the association. |
|
The Board is the executive part of the association. The Board delivers its annual report to the PRIVILEGED MEMBERS at the AGM.
The Managing
Director is appointed by the Board and runs the daily business. |
| Twice a year the representatives of the national
associations and the largest car dealers from all over Europe meet at this
forum. In a round table environment the members openly discuss all issues
around the EU car market or individual, national problems.
The results of these discussions form the basis for the association's political focus and future actions of E.A.I.V.T. and its board. Association politics and actions are published in a strategy paper for the information of its members and partners. The E.A.I.V.T. ThinkTank and the follow-up measures make sure that the
association works in the interest of its members. |
